Visitors!

A couple of weekends ago, we had our first friends from Texas come to visit!  My friend's husband surprised both her and her daughter (Jocelyn's buddy) with a trip to come see us.  Cleveland is such a desirable travel destination I hear :)

We were so excited to get these girls together.  They both have very strong personalities so we were mostly referees, but they were so excited to see each other!

Enjoying the "warmer" weather
In true "Jan Bass" fashion (my mother) I got the girls matching jammies.  In this picture Ava looks so much bigger than Jocelyn and they are only 2 months apart, crazy!

Megan was also my very sweet and talented friend who decorated most of my house .  So naturally, we had to go get some finishing touches...three carts full, with three kids in tow.  The cashier was very impressed with our shopping/parenting skills.

Thankfully Derek provided some babysitting services so Megan and I could go out to dinner and grab drinks...kid free after our day of shopping!

We hit up the Children's Museum

They had a sand exhibit....felt like we were in Florida (J/K)

They loved the grocery store

They really loved the bus??  Very odd, but we went along with it.  Not sure who the extra kid is, hope her mom doesn't mind that we took her picture too.

Easter 2015

Well, this is our first official "holiday" with just our little family up here in Ohio.  Although we missed all of our family, I think we made the day really special and full of memories!

Thankfully I was off of work on Friday and got so much done...including bunny duty!

On Saturday we dyed Easter Eggs

The kids were so excited to see what the Easter bunny brought them...and what the Grandparent's sent from Texas!

G loving his new shades

We started the morning off right with a fancy breakfast.  The kids wanted us to join them at the kids table (tight quarters, but sweet)

Jocelyn helped me make a special Easter bunny cake I saw on Pinterest.

We are very loved, all of our Easter cards!

So proud!  (Maybe I helped a little...)

Giving her new bubbles a whirl

A little sidewalk chalk art

Yesterday Jocelyn met two very sweet girls who live across the street.  They invited her to come play on their awesome swing set in the back, and they played so nicely.  Today they walked over with these Easter cupcakes...oh my gosh!  So sweet!  They are so precious!

Time for our inside egg hunt because we have NO grass outside yet!

Grayson just followed J around, it was so cute!

J would find G's eggs and help him put them into his basket

Someone was SUPER excited about the money in her eggs.  She is saving up so we can go get ice cream :)

This little guy seemed pissed that all he had were goldfish...sorry little guy!

Time for confetti eggs out on our beautiful lawn

Jocelyn couldn't figure out why this wasn't a good idea?!?

Happy Easter from The England Family!
