Guilty pleasure

I am going to tattle on myself for a minute.....so, Friday I went to Costco to buy completely unnecessary items. I have been dying to read 50 shades of grey, and I saw that they had them, so I tossed a copy in my cart. After checkout, I was reviewing my receipt on my way out the door and to my horror noticed that the guy didn't charge me for the book?!? Oh crap! Many thoughts went through my head, but the thought of walking up to customer service to inform them that they forgot to charge me for my "mommy porn" made me so embarrassed. So when I got to the guy at the door who counts your items in comparison to your receipt, he said "ma'am, does everything look okay on your ticket?".....I quickly said yes....and RAN!!! See Derek....it pays to buy all of those completely unnecessary items, he didn't even count my items :) hehe!

"Ahhh...Poo-Peed"

This past weekend, Derek, Jocelyn and I flew up to Illinois for the England Family Reunion/Grandpa's Farm Auction.  It is not very often that we get to see all of the England clan, so we seized this opportunity to head up North to see the family...and enjoy some much cooler weather!

We flew up Friday and went straight to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  I forgot my camera this night (oops), but we still had so much fun.  Jocelyn decided to NOT take a nap, and crashed hard that night!

Saturday morning was Derek's Grandpa's farm auction.  This was really cool, and like nothing I have ever been to before.  He actually hired an auction company to come in and auction off all of his farm equipment that he has collected over the years.  I would say that "if we didn't live in Texas, we would have bought more"......but, that wasn't the case.  Derek and his Dad are going to have to return to Illinois soon, rent a Uhaul and drive back.  BECAUSE.....we are the proud new owners of one of Grandpa's tractors.  Yes, I know you are all wondering what in the world these City Slickers will be doing with a tractor?  My answer is, I have no idea??!!  It is kinda cool, and of course it has sentimental value.
We have already decided that Derek will be in charge of hauling all of the kiddos around on the tractor for our neighbor hood 4th of July party.

I have never been to a farm auction before.  It was really cool.  They had all of Grandpa's stuff lined out into rows, and this pick up truck with the auctioneer would ride around and take bids on everything.  They went all day long auctioning off his things.

I love this picture!  On Saturday night after the auction, we had fried chicken for dinner.  Jocelyn walked around with this chicken leg all night.  She really didn't eat much of it, but she had so much fun!  It was so nice to see all of the England clan, we need to do it more often!

Now onto the explanation of the title of this blog post "Ahhh....poo-peed".  This was not Jocelyn's first time to fly, but it was our first time since she A: was mobile and B: not on a bottle.  So, I knew when I booked our flight home right in the middle of her nap time, I was asking for it.  She did okay until this happened:

Flight Attendant:  "Ladies and Gentlemen, in preparation for landing please make sure your seat belts are fastened and your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright and locked position".

PAUSE, INSERT

Jocelyn: (at the TOP of her lungs) "AHHH....POO-PEED", "AHHH....POO-PEED"

For those of you who don't speak toddler, she is informing us that she has just crapped her pants!  Ahh!  Are you kidding me??  She then started to riffle through her diaper bag and reach for her diapers because she wanted her diaper changed NOW!  Since we weren't able to get out of our seats just yet, she continued to yell the above phrase VERY loudly until we landed.  All of the other passengers around us were not so amused.  We were "those" people.

I think it is time for potty training, what do you think?!?  ;)
