Happy Birthday and 4th of July!

Last week I celebrated turning another year older.  I decided to throw myself a "Happy Birthday Happy Hour" and invite the neighbors over.  This way the kids could come and the parents could enjoy themselves.....and then walk home after we have had a few too many adult beverages!

Kind of similar to prom, all of the girls decided to take "glamour shots" in front of the fire place.  Unfortunately, we were not able to get everyone together at once....so we just kept taking group shots.  The guys thought we were insane.

This crazy lady in the picture with me, Ashley, gave birth to her precious little girl on Friday....just a few days after the party.  Ellison Marie has the cutest nose and was 7lbs 7oz!

Me and my birthday button
My next door neighbor, Gamze....who is due in November.  (I think there might be something in the water?!?)

Gamze is a great cook, and we frequently mooch off of their meals.  She even made me a hydrangea inspired birthday cake!
On the 4th of July, we had a neighborhood parade and cookout.  We all decorated our kiddos wagons, scooters, bikes, etc.  Jocelyn was incredibly cooperative.

So cute!

The older girls are so sweet to Jocelyn.  I told them to hold her hand, and they did :)

The parade was a huge success, and a "one sided" turnout.  Since most of the kiddos are so small and needed to be pulled, pushed, whatever....so, all of the parents for the most part had to walk in the parade. When I say it was one sided....there were literally 3 people who were observers...and the rest of us were "in" the parade.  We had fun though!

Miss J in her wagon.  She had a small flag that she would wave on my command....so cute!

We even got a visit from the Frisco FD!  All of the kids loved it!

I am sure all of these mommies are going to kill me for posting this picture, but oh well.  Seriously, there must be something in the water....there are 3 preggos in this picture!  Crazy!  I have come to the conclusion that all residents of Frisco do the following: get their car washed, go to Starbucks, go out to eat....and have babies!  We live in an awesome neighborhood, with awesome people, we are very lucky!
