Can you believe it? Jocelyn is already 6 months old! Crazy! She has changed so much literally over the past few weeks. She rolled over for the first time at about 5 months 2 weeks or so old. Then wa-bam...at 5 months 3 weeks old she was sitting up. Then, last Friday I took Jocelyn to have 6 months pictures made (to be posted later-can't wait to see them!) and the photographer had asked me prior "can she sit up yet?". I said no, but I guess that was all that needed to be said, because she sits up like a pro now!
On Friday, I also took J for her 6 month checkup. She weighed in at 17lbs 10oz...yikes! 80th percentile!! and 26 inches long. Dr. Fernandez was very pleased with her progress on the milestones and said she is progressing beautifully.
So much personality now, smiles and laughs at just about everything!
I love this one. She absolutely adores Toby, but he doesn't really like her?!? Don't know what to do about that one.
We started Jocelyn on solids this week also, pretty exciting! I am trying to be "super mom" and make her food. It is pretty easy so far, so hopefully this will continue. So far she has had banannas, squash and apples. Banannas and apples went well, squash resulted bitter beer face and a bath at daycare because she literally blew a hole in her diaper.
We hung her swing on the back porch. I think she might not be big enough yet, but I think she will love it!
Last Saturday night, Derek and I went out and my sweet cousin, Jessica came to watch Jocelyn.
Minus the long stream of drool coming out of Jocelyn's mouth, I love this picture...so cute!
