Maternity Pictures

My neighbor and sweet friend, Haley recently took our maternity photos.  In true England photo session fashion....some sort of weather catastrophe was happening that day...always our luck!  Luckily, it was just super windy.  In some of the pictures my hair is blowing, and I am sure you are thinking I look like a Victoria's Secret model :)  Totally kidding! 

It is so special to capture this time in our lives.  Not only are we so excited and blessed, Jocelyn is in love with my belly and her brother.  Everyday before I leave for work, she has to hug and kiss my belly.  She also loves telling people about her brother, Baby Grayson.  I know she understands that there is a baby in my belly, but I am not sure if she realizes that he is coming to live with us....and not leaving?!?  I know she will be a great big sister.

I almost died of laughter when I saw this one.  Haley was telling Jocelyn to "pose" and I guess Jocelyn imitated her exactly!  Ha!  What a stinker!

Zoo trip!

On Friday, I took the day off to take Jocelyn to the zoo.  She has been once before with Derek, but I wasn't able to go.  She was so excited...so much so that she insisted on trying her outfit on the night before?!  The morning of, she popped out of bed and asked when we were going to the zoo and when we could see the giraffe's and elephants.  So cute! 

We met several of our neighbor friends out there, 9 adults and 13 kids to be exact.  And, some of the mom's left their little ones back home.  So, needless to say we were quite the group!

Mostly, Jocelyn wanted to push the stroller she was supposed to be riding in around the zoo.  I only wish she would have been able to push me, because after this day I was so exhausted from all of that walking!

I am so happy that I got to take J on this little outing before Grayson gets here.  We are 9 weeks away from meeting our little man!  My mind feels like that is coming so fast, but my body feels like it is going to take forever!!  

7 month belly shot and RHOTK baby shower!

I can't believe I am already 7 months along?!  I feel like this pregnancy is just flying by, but I have a feeling the next 12 weeks are going to drag!

I took this picture right before we went to the Ranger's opening day!  I feel like I am carrying my pregnancy weight in my face, ugh! 

If I haven't mentioned before (wink,wink) we live in a pretty amazing neighborhood!  Derek and I have made so many friends over the past year and a half, and we really enjoy everyone's company.  The neighborhood ladies RHOTK (Real Housewives of The Knolls) threw me and two other expecting mommies a fun shower!  They really did a nice job, everything was perfect!

This was so neat to see!  I have said Grayson's name, and written it a few times, but to actually see it printed out on something was so "real" for me!  I plan on getting one made for Jocelyn and using it as decoration in their bathroom they will share.

The three momma's to be "again"!  Jennifer, Me and Kelly.  Jennifer (on the left) actually had sweet Tatum TODAY!  I think she looks great for being 9 months pregnant!  Kelly (on the right) and I are two weeks apart!  Crazy!  And, our daughters are also a couple of weeks apart.  I guess we like to time it that way?! 

Michelle, one of the girls made these diaper babies!  I nearly died of laughter, they were too cute!  Jocelyn thought they were real babies, and was holding onto Baby Grayson when I got home from the party.  Then, when I "disassembled" Baby Grayson to put everything away, she asked if I broke the baby?  Ha!  Yes, I did...but hey, I needed the diapers!

I can't begin to thank these ladies enough!  They are so supportive and showered Baby Grayson and I with gifts of love on Saturday.  We are very lucky!

Easter 2013

Easter was a lot of fun this year, because Jocelyn is starting to understand more.  Unfortunately, Jocelyn is scared of the "Easter Bunny"?? So, we had to be very careful when explaining that he had left her a present...and then left.  You could see the fear in her eyes when she thought the Easter Bunny was waiting downstairs for her!  :)

 

 

Jocelyn got a cute new swimsuit from the Easter Bunny along with some new sunglasses, and flip flops.  She litterally asks everyday if she can go swim at the pool.

3rd Annual Crawfish Boil!

We managed to pull off another successful crawfish boil!  Our list of invitee's gets bigger and bigger each year, and we had so much fun this year.  Granted....my house looked like a bomb went off after, but it was a lot of fun!

I think we ended up having 4 pots going?  Unfortunately, I didn't eat anything more than a couple of potatos this year, but I heard it was good?!

Here I am almost 7 months pregnant.  What was I thinking hosting about 45 adults and all of thier kiddos?!?

Jocelyn opted for NO nap the day of the party (Awesome) but she was a little trooper, and had so much fun with all of her friends!  Her hair is getting so long, especially compared to last year...but we still have a long way to go! Ha!

 



ABC's

I just learned how to upload videos from my phone to You Tube.  Yes, I am sure all of you knew how to do this years ago....but I just figured this out.  How cool!  Now, you will have many more videos to view of Miss J, and this summer of Mr. Grayson!  Yay!

Jocelyn comes home from school everyday and loves to show us what she learned.  Today she had music with Mr. Shepherd, and sang the alphabet song.  Listen closely to the letters QRS....
