Surprise video find!

I know I have already done the Easter post, but I stumbled across this video tonight and just had to post it.  My favorite part is....well, I have two favorite parts...the first is when she "swats" her Poppy for trying to tell her what to do and my second favorite part is at the very end...Enjoy!

Beach babe!

Our neighborhood pool opened a few weekends ago, and we were very excited to get Jocelyn out in the pool to see how she would do.  She loves it!  She does, however, prefer to sit in a chair on the side of the pool sipping her drink and eating goldfish....just like her momma!

Crawfish Boil 2012

We had our 2nd annual crawfish boil, and had so much fun.  The weather was great, kind of hot, but awesome.  Our house is right across the street from the park, so it was perfect for the kiddos to be able to get out and play. 

Derek was super serious about this one... 3 pots going with 70lbs of crawfish!

Endless hours of entertainment with bubbles

I can hardly ever get Jocelyn to smile in a picture...unless she is playing with bubbles, so cute!

We had artichoke, corn, mushrooms and potato.  They were so good, but SO hot and spicy!

Will the builder.  Seriously... this is Will, and he built our home.  He was doing his daily drive around checking on homes and pulled up to ask what we were doing.  He left and came back 15 minutes later with 12 pack of beer and ate some crawfish with us.  This neighborhood is pretty close knit, so he knew pretty much everyone.

We had so much fun, glad everyone was able to come out.  We will make it even bigger and better next year!

Easter

We are officially back up and running.  Our computer crashed while I was trying to do a blog post about a month ago.  AND....we are just now getting around to purchasing a new computer, whew!  So, needless to say....I am a bit behind in blogging. 

We had a great Easter.  We went to church with my family and had a wonderful brunch and egg hunt.  Jocelyn got 3 swim suits, 3 Easter Baskets and a trampoline....that is totally normal right?!?

 We took a family photo before it started raining.  Miss Thang was not up for posing. 

 Jocelyn sporting her Easter bunny ears.  She is also into babies and blankets.  She will literally carry anywhere from 2-4 blankets and 2 babies at one time.

 May I please draw your attention to this precious dress I found at a resale shop for literally $6.99.  I fell in love, and she had to have it!

 In the afternoon, we headed over to Derek's parents for an early dinner and another Easter Egg hunt.

 Jocelyn's baskets theme was duckies.  By this point, she was totally into the egg hunt and found all of them.  So much fun!

 She even got her own Easter Egg mini cake....

 which didn't take her very long at all to devour....
